The source for these pages is maintained on a K-6 500 Mhz running Linux kernel 2.4.xx named Elstar. While the operations of North Penn are based on NT 4.0 and Win98, Linux is my special retreat to the joys of *nix.
Linux evolved from a project initiated by Linus Torvalds and was developed by an international collaboration via the internet. It is a multi-user, multi-tasking system capable of running on many CPU platforms.
If you have interests in computer programming or enjoy the exhilaration of tinkering with your system, you owe it to yourself to check out this wellspring of computer software.
